These guys saved my life! Legit! A key on my macbook pro came off and I went straight to the Apple store for help. They wanted to charge me $500 to replace the entire keyboard surface. I brought my macbook to Alfa in hopes they could help. And sure enough, they replaced my single key for $30 and did it within 20 mins. Thank you guys so so much! Truly grateful for the efficient and affordable service

I hired Alfa a couple of years ago to assemble a dual boot ubuntu-windows machine from parts I had assembled. The idea was that this was a deep learning box with windows for the occasional game (e.g., Forza Horizon). In January of this year the machine stopped booting and would just cycle the power on and off so I brought it back to Alfa for repairs.

After three months, most of which was spent with these guys ghosting me and complaining that there was a problem with my phone (there wasn't - T-Mobile is still in business), and complaining that they had trouble finding replacement motherboards, and that the replacements were all defective. they took it upon themselves to replace my motherboard with one they decided was more appropriate for my needs.

I got the computer back FINALLY with a substandard motherboard that takes 3x times as long to boot. They also kept/lost my usb dongle for a wireless Razer mouse that I had stupidly left in there. Because I kind of expected to have the computer back in a week or two since it was supposed to be such a simple repair. I regret bringing the computer to Alfa and wish I had a way to go back in time and take it elsewhere.

I am pretty brave with the Windows user interface and had gone through many attempts to fix my problem. A software app is automatically restarting my PC every couple of hours, even after I uninstalled it. The Alfa technician tried unsuccessfully to fix the issue, and several others. The only method he used was changing Windows settings. I was expecting help that went deeper into the registry and Bios because I knew it was not a matter of changing settings. I should have learned more about their approach and tech savvy before I hired them.

Very unorganized business the two people that worked there are nice but they need to clean their business. When i walked in I was trying to figure out where to step with knocking old computers over. I get it ur busy but the clutter and dirty floors need to be cleaned especially now.

These guys are great. They're all extremely nice, very knowledgeable, and charge very reasonable prices. I've never once gotten the impression that they're trying to "screw" me or upsell me in any way. Would highly recommend them!

Excellent service. Their communication impresses me. I've used this business twice for PC issues that I could not figure out, but they've solved them without putting a hole in my wallet or taking too long. Both times, they've reached out to me by giving me updates on what needs to be fixed, cost to make the necessary fixes, and when to expect the problems to be resolved. Best part is their honesty.

I went to their web site and got a pop-up window of a girl saying she wanted to have sex and when I tried to go to the contact page I got a screen with a big red X saying it contained harmful porgrams. Not sure reassuring for a teach repair place!

I contacted Alfa Computer on Wednesday night about a broken laptop screen. They ordered the replacement screen and said the part would be in Friday afternoon. I went on Saturday morning and was in and out within 30 minutes! Super friendly service. I'm hoping I won't need more computer repairs but if I do I will be returning to Alfa Computer. :

Courteous, professional, very helpful with suggestions as to the best sysem to meet my requirements. We've been buying laptops and desktops for business and personal use for many years. My business originally was around the corner from Alfa; and although we moved quite a distance away, we still prefer buying from Alfa! If you want top quality personalized service, you can't go wrong at Alfa.

Joe was extremely nice and very quick and honest in repairing my laptop. He also cleaned it very well prior to handing it back to me. I've never been happier getting a repair. I highly recommend this place.

It was so easy to work with the friendly folks at Alfa Computer! They worked on my MacBook for about a week, and Tan was always quick to respond to my e-mails and questions. Ultimately the computer was a loss (as I was pretty sure it would be), but Tan gave me some ideas on selling it to at least cover the attempted repairs. Glad to have a computer guy in my area that I can trust!

Excellent place. Very friendly, and seemed interested in helping. As a bit of a techie type myself, I can see that these people know their stuff. We had an obscure problem, but they'd seen it before. They were honest, admitting they had no solution to fix it, but helped me through how to reconfigure the device from a backup I had. In the end, after checking the system and discussing it for quite a while, it was only $20.

They offered to do it for us if we wanted, and said we could call if we had any problems. It's good to have a tech place that feels personal and will discuss the issues, not just taking the computer, giving a number, and telling you when to come back. Very good place, would highly recommend for techies and non-techies alike who want friendly and helpful professional computer help.

I had a computer issue for a couple of weeks where I couldn't connect to the internet reliably, and sometimes not at all. I changed my settings and tried everything I could think of. Nothing worked so I decided to bring my pc to Alfa Computer. I was promptly and courteously greeted by a really nice worker and was asked what issue I was having.

He immediately hooked it up and helped me troubleshoot. Within minutes he figured out exactly what was causing my woes! Glad to have internet access back in my life! THIS is why I love to help the smaller, independently-owned stores. Forget the big box stores. you'll save time, money, and headaches by going to Alfa. You will feel welcomed the moment you enter their shop by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are the BEST and will get all future business from me from now on. Highly recommended!

The first time I went to ALFA was to have them suck all of the dust out of my sony vaio. The process took 15 minutes and Joe didn't charge me a dime! (Of course I left him a nice tip so he could buy lunch on me) The second time I went to ALPHA (just yesterday), I went in to upgrade the RAM on my MacBook Pro from 4gb to 8gb. Parts + Labor cost less than half as much charged by Apple ton get the service done at the Genius Bar. Tan(the head honcho) is super knowledgable, friendly, and extremely fair.

I would recommend this computer shop to anyone who is having any kind of computer problem, and I would absolutely return a third time if I myself run into any troubles. Also, all parts and labor are guaranteed for 1 year. If something isn't right, just bring it back in.
