Bob and Carolyn are very knowledgeable and honest. They worked on 2 desk tops, two lap tops and took the time to explain things. Solved the issues and got them back to us in a timely manner. The price was very reasonable as well! I would certainly recommend Bell & Associates!

This man is a scammer. I took my laptop in for a me Mechanical repair. A simple get part rep!ace. I was called and The bill was $125.00 excuse was it "took a long time to take it apart". Had "Bob" told me he did not know how to take the back off of my laptop I have Kyle have noT used this person. Then further (thinking I was an ELDERLY woman he could fleece) he had his assistant call me to "tell me my battery was bad and to try and sell me a battery. Fortunately I use to be an DELL authorized dealer. This Bob & Associates is a scammer. All they know is programming. Claimed to be veteran - what veteran Cheats a veteran. CHEAT do not use!

In my opinion, these folks are incompetent, and anyone looking for professional attention to their computer problems should look elsewhere. I took a fairly old desktop that would no longer boot up to this establishment, and explained that, while it would be nice if they could get the machine to operate, I was really interested in recovering the data from the hard drive.

The "technician" took the machine, ran a few "diagnostics" and told me that they could not access the drive, so there was no way the data could be recovered. The tech suggested that they could try freezing the hard drive in an attempt to access the data. I declined this suggestion as I understand it is successful only in rare occasions. I left the unit for a few more days, as the tech indicated that they would continue to attempt to recover the data.

When I picked up the unit, I was told the data was not recoverable unless the drive was sent out to a data recovery specialist, which was a very expensive undertaking. I declined this suggestion and paid a $45 "diagnostic fee". I happened to mention this problem to my son-in-law, who is somewhat technically savvy, but certainly no expert. He suggested I buy a hard disk docking station, which are available on line for about $25.

I followed his suggestion, and sure enough when I popped my disc into the docking station and plugged it into the USB of my laptop, every last file of the "unrecoverable" data was displayed on my screen, ready to be accessed. When I stopped by Bob Bell and Associates to explain how I was able to recover the data they could not, and request my $45 diagnostic fee back, it was quite evident the technician had never seen a hard disc docking station before, and asked me what it was.

I would really expect a competent computer repair facility to be more technical sophisticated than that so they could have offered it as a simple, cost effective solution to my problem. BTW: the owner of this establishment refused to refund my $45
