Services
Use Disk Cleanup once a week to free your hard drive of unnecessary temporary, cache and junk files. To use it, click START All Programs Accessories System Tools Disk Cleanup. Once it opens, select items to delete (We don't recommend compressing old or unused files). Make sure you won't ever need any of the files in the Recycle Bin before you proceed to emptying it!
Computer Cures is owned and operated by Dave Glantz, an A+ Certified PC Technician. We are located in Steamboat Springs and provide computer services to all of Northwest Colorado. Dave and his staff apply their extensive knowledge to solve all your computer problems. With 20 years experience in hardware and software, they will do whatever it takes to cure what ails your computer.
A: For laptops and printers, please bring in your A/C Power supply. For tower and desktop PC's usually nothing else is needed. No monitors, keyboards, mice or power cords are necessary. However, if you have the original system, restore and program disks please bring them in with you. A: Preserving your data is our highest priority.

I was staying in Steamboat Springs for an extended vacation and working remotely when my computer went blank. Naturally, I was in a panic. I did a Google search for "computer repair" and Computer Cures came up. I called and Dave answered the phone (something that doesn't always happen these days!). Turns out his office was just a mile from our condo, and he said to bring my laptop by in about an hour in between his previous appointments.
He was leaving on vacation in a few days, but said he would take on my computer. While he was able to get it running right away, we agreed it needed a full tuneup and update. When I got my computer back the next day, it was like a new unit! I was pleased with Dave's professionalism, his warmth, his knowledge and his willingness to take on a non-local client who needed some work done rather quickly.
Now we're hooked up remotely so if needed, I can continue our working relationship from Florida. He put new life into my dying old laptop, despite his busy schedule, and I am most grateful. I would highly recommend using Dave's services. You will not be disappointed. (Plus, he explains things that make sense to those of us who don't share his tech expertise!)

Brought in a laptop with a black screen with cursor condition. Asked that if repair would exceed $150 not to proceed as this computer only cost $350 new. Repair was stated to take approximately 3-4 days. It took 10 days. I was called at 7:30PM to be informed that my computer would be ready later that night, and to come pick it up because he was leaving town for a week.
The computer had to be left under a chair outside the shop door for pickup the next morning. The hard drive was replaced and numerous software changes made. Upon working with it, I found a couple of programs missing and settings altered so that others wouldn't run. It took me 2 days of research, updating and installing to correct all the problems. My final bill was $58.00 more than I paid for the computer new, ($408.00) and have recently come to find that the hard drive that was installed is used.

I arrived in town late at night and quickly realized that I did not have my charger. I submitted an email request on their web site, and Dave called me back first thing the next morning before business hours (as I had indicated the time-sensitive nature of my needs). So helpful, flexible, and professional.
