Excellent service. Same-day repair of a motherboard I had with bent pins. He doesn't normally do this work, but he eagerly solved the issue anyway. Saved me hundreds of dollars from potentially having to replace a 700$ defective motherboard. 11/10 would recommend!

I just called to speak with someone on the cost to repair my laptop screen (cracked). The person who answered the phone was rude, didn't tell me he was placing me on hold and then you can hear him hanging up the phone. I wouldn't recommend this business.go elsewhere.

Broke my laptop screen, Craig replaced it quickly and expertly, and charged $70 less than what a rival computer repair shop quoted me. He's the best! When i need a new computer, I'm going to buy one of his refurbished ones, because he does quality work.

Brought my computer in for failing to boot. Tried to troubleshoot this problem on my own and failed. Craig assisted me and I was not disappointed! After changing the motherboard and computer case, Craig was able to fix the issue at a moderate price. Great service and flexible. Very kind and pleasant to work with. 100% will gladly recommend!

Love going to this shop. They are knowledgeable and honest and thier prices are reasonable. They replaced my touch screen for only $167 Plenty of parking. Definitely recommend them

Arrived at 10:15am this morning and the shop was locked up tight. Lights off, 'open' sign off, no one in the store. Tried knocking (couldn't find a doorbell) with no results. Called the phone number listed and heard the line ringing clearly from inside the store, but it just went to voicemail. Their hours were posted clearly on the door stating that they opened at 10am Monday through Friday, but on this Wednesday morning, I guess not! Am I going to trust my machine to a store that can't even open on time? NOPE.

This review is the sum total of two vastly different experiences. One was a five star review encounter at this Computer Shop. The other was so bad that I don't think I'll return. The Good: I came by because my computer and my brother's computer weren't working. The employee quickly diagnosed the problems, walked me through his thought process, and had me out and on my way within the 1/2 hour.

I left feeling valued and empowered with knowledge. The Ugly: This shop advertises cellphone screen repair. Usually I do this myself; however, one of my tools had broken and I didn't want to wait for the replacement to come in the mail. AVOID PHONE REPAIR. I dropped my iPhone off around noon. I was informed that they would contact me when the crack in my screen was fixed.

I know that a screen replacement isn't a time intensive task; so, when I hadn't heard anything after a few hours, I thought I'd call to see where my item was in the queue. As it turns out, the phone had already been examined. They did not have the proper tools to fully replace the screen and I was informed I could pick up the phone.

This should have been communicated to me sooner. When I went to pick up the phone I found that in the process of examining it, they had broken the home button. After sticking around to inquire about this, I was told they could not fix this. In addition, they misplaced one of the screws to open the phone. It's not a huge deal, but it's a slight discoloration and it will be noticeable when I bring it in to the Apple store for an actual repair.

This error has resulted in extreme inconvenience and increased cost, as the price for a screen and home button replacement is significantly more expensive now that I have to take it to the Apple store. The only saving grace is that I wasn't charged for this ordeal. The employees definitely know what they're talking about when it comes to computer hardware. Don't come here for cellphones.

There was no remedy offered for the mistake made. I understand that mistakes happen when it comes to making repairs. A hand slips, a screw gets lost--okay. An apology and some kind of remedy go a long way to ensuring that a customer doesn't feel taken advantage of.

During this virus the worker did not have gloves on. They also kept saying how my itx board is not for gaming. They told me that my rtx 2060 super was old and that new models use like 16 pin cables. When they took out the 24 pin cable they pulled so hard my mobo started bending and almost got yanked out. They fixed nothing and just told me to buy a new case and new motherboard. I'm not happy with the service of Computer Shop.

Computer Shop definitely deserves the five star rating. I called, was told to drop in, I brought my suddenly dead computer, and immediately had it diagnosed. The power supply had failed. The repair was made in a few minutes. I also had an upgrade at CPU installed while I was there. Excellent quick service at a fair price. For comparison, Geek Squad offered an appointment tomorrow afternoon to drop off my computer. Go with the local guys.

My computer refused to turn on - I called up Computer Shop and Craig said to bring it right over - no waiting! It took him about five minutes to diagnose, the problem and another 10 to install a new power supply - I was back home, up and running inside of 30 minutes! AND. the price was VERY reasonable!

Had an excellent experience with this shop over RAM cards that were not functioning correctly and caused an older Dell desktop to not boot up correctly. The owner took the unit in right away, and fixed the problem at a very modest cost. The shop is a little tricky to find - in a strip mall across from the Columbia post office. But it is worth seeking out. Am very happy with the service today.

I read other reviews and this looked like a good place. My PC would not turn on and I suspected the power supply. Craig diagnosed the issue immediately (it was power supply) and repaired immediately. I also found out he builds custom PC's - I wish I knew that earlier as I recently had one built.

I had a PC built for me three years ago here and brought it back to Craig thinking the power supply died. I was always treated with respect and got the utmost customer service irrespective of how large or small the issue was; which is one of the main reasons I traveled 80 miles round-trip. Today was raining and foggy slowing his business and giving Craig time to look at my PC while I waited.

It turned out to be the power supply and Craig installed a new one and showed me some checks I can do to keep my PC cleaner while he also discussed his homeland China. As long as Craig is in business, he will have mine.

My desktop would not power up after a brief power outage. I went online and did the trouble shooting according to the info I found. All voltages on the power supply tested good, power button an everything else either tested good or looked fine. I replaced the mother board and, again, no power. I brought it in to the Computer Shop. Craig had me put it down on the counter and he immediately proceeded to diagnose the problem.

His power supply made the system function, while mine, which tested good, did not! He quickly tested the old mother board and it worked fine. He offered a replacement power supply at a reasonable price and charged me $15.00 for the trouble shooting. I was a very happy customer: excellent customer service, instant turnaround. I would definitely go back again.

Alex and Craig are fantastic. I took my office pc to The Computer Shop and it was fixed at a decent price within a day or two. So that prompted my employer to hire the shop to upgrade our network and computers. It was done quickly and we've had no issues. Alex is responsive, polite, and professional.

My computer wouldn't even turn on. I suspected it was a power supply issue, so I took it to a big box store that has computer repair, but they turned me away since I didn't have an appointment. I looked around and found this place. Their posted hours are until 5pm. Well, I got there at 5 sharp and the open sign was still lit up, so I ran in and explained the issue.

He said, "bring it in." So, I went back to the vehicle and brought it inside. Turns out, it was the power supply, which he replaced on the spot. He gladly stayed 30 minutes past closing time to fix my computer without an appointment. Thumbs up for great customer service!
