They were able to repair my computer so that I could get the data off of it. However the screen was broken. I got the data off of my computer and then brought it back. For the inclusive $260 they were able to fix the chip that was causing the issue with the screen as well.

These guys are complete geniuses. I spilled an entire glass of water on my computer and it instantly shorted out. I thought it was a lost cause. Not only were they able to rebuild my computer using a bunch of random parts, but they somehow 2 days later were able to revive my data and transfer it all to the new hard-drive! WOOHHOOOOO! I will never go anywhere else.

Wife and I recently came in for some service a few weeks ago for her relatively new laptop. He had the speed issue diagnosed, quoted the price, and had a timeline for us in the scope of days rather than weeks like some other places are backed up right now. This was crucial as she is working from home and needs her laptop running smoothly. Price was fair and the guy here is straight to the point.

I love this place. If it can be fixed, updated, upgraded then you are at the right place. If it can't be done they will tell you straight up. The proprietor is by far the most knowledgeable person I have met when it come to computers. He is honest and his rates are good. Give him a try.

Difficult. Poor workmanship. They replaced the glass on my laptop incorrectly. I returned after their 14-day return policy to ask them to address the nonworking trackpad and bouncing curser and rolling screen. They refused to look at it, said they will not make exceptions to the 14-day policy because they cannot return parts.

I had my computer fixed three weeks ago. And my computer now runs very good with high performance! i here would like to appreciate your great service with reasonable charge that I have never experienced before. Good Job, East Bay computer center! Regards, Henry

My hard drive crashed on my desktop so they replaced my hard drive and took a few days to transfer all my data over to a new hard drive. It was a perfect transfer and the price was quite fair for how much time and attention they put into it. I really am grateful for what they did. They are fair, honest and super nice. I recommend them fully. Robert

I've bought parts and computers from them since the mid 1990s. The best things about them are their skill, honesty and work ethic, including a personality that can't stand doing bad work. I own an IT business and regularly send overflow clients there. (The store still makes Windows 7 tower PCs, too, which is important for people avoiding dreaded Windows 8.x; plus they order major manufactures' Win7 laptops.) Because their service is so good, the parts they use are also good (e.g., Kingston RAM), otherwise they'd have to service their products more. Anytime something went bad early (e.g., a hard drive), they knocked themselves out to fix and replace it.

I've bought nearly 100 computers there for clients over the years. This is my go-to local store. I'm not sure, but I think most of the consumer-rating services, paid and free, rate this store the best or one of the best in the east bay. Perfection in a computer store is impossible, though, so what really counts is how the store handles problems. This raises them to the tip top level. They even work with at least one local homeless person who sometimes needs help with his stash of old computers.
