Proceed with caution, they don't inspect computers before replacing parts, cost me a lot of time and money due to a wrong replacement part though they did eventually fix it.

I have been doing business with the comdoctor for at least 10 years. Bill and his crew have always taken great care of me. The have custom built towers for me as well as repaired corrupted and virus filled computers. They are very capable and I always trust them.

Brought in my high end Dell computer to find out what was wrong, left it there with software to be installed. A few weeks later I was called and said it was probably the "hard drive failure" the gentleman said it's not cost effective to repair it! I said "probably" doesn't help me, please get back to me. I received a call a month later stating "he could build me one with the same specs or better.
Never heard from him again. It's been a year and I had my number changed a month ago, so I was catching up on people who may not have known, I stopped in, only to find parts of the computer in a box along with my software. I asked was there a computer made? " not sure, but if there was, it's long gone. Also "it states on the form, hardware dropped off after 30 days of job completion will be parted out. Ok, funny how my signature or date is not on the form! The computer that they were going to build was $150! The dell computer was worth $2000 not quite exactly a fair trade, especially when I never got it.

I have been a customer for over a decade. We are an internet business running 10 computers or more. That have repaired at least a dozen computers for us successfully over the years- several with failed hard drives in which they successfully recovered our info. The owner and staff have always been great to deal with. It is such a relief to work with a company that really "knows what its doing". It irritates me that some people have left poor reviews mainly because they felt a repair should have cost less than it did.
For first rate work, I'm willing to pay a fair price. I'm very grateful we have this resource. I like and trust them so much, I have shipped computers from our South Carolina office to Maine to be fixed.
